At the start of the game, only Gladiator 1 is unlocked, while the rest of the gladiators are unlocked by collecting golden shields. On collection of 10 shields, gladiator 2 is unlocked. 10 more shields unlock gladiator 3 and an additional 10 shields unlock gladiator 4. Shields are removed from the reel strips on unlocking the last gladiator. 1. Gladiator 1: A 1x2 wild that lands on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5. May land fully or partially visible on the reels. 2. The Gladiator Queen scatter appears on reels 2, 3, 4, and 5. Landing 3 or 4 scatters triggers 7 or 14 free spins, respectively. Each spin guarantees a random gladiator on reels 2 and/or 3, and a random gladiator on reels 4 and/or 5. Additional gladiators may also appear. Only unlocked gladiators can land during the bonus round. Each scatter awards 1 extra free spin.
