Molehills
This is where the heist actually takes place! Out of nowhere the Mole starts digging, connects the dots and the win trail follows behind. At any point during a spin, 2 or more Molehills may appear on random positions across the grid. When the same symbol lands on 2 or more Molehills, a trail forms between them. Every symbol the trail passes through gets swapped for the matching symbol, turning the whole path into a winning cluster. Up to 5 Molehills can appear in a single spin and an additional one may pop up during chain reactions. They disappear at the start of the next spin.
The path matters almost as much as the destination. Molehills can appear with win multipliers attached, awarded whenever the Molehill takes part in a trail. Multipliers also show up when a trail passes through matching symbols already on the reels, or when swapped symbols happen to match the one that triggered the trail. All multipliers collected in a spin are added together and applied to the total cumulative win at the end of all chain reactions. The possible multipliers are x2, x3, x4, x5, x6, x7, x8, x10, x15, x20, x25, x50 and x100.
Mole Business
Sometimes the Mole takes matters into his own hands. If Molehills appear but no matching symbols land on them, the Mole may randomly show up and swap a symbol on one Molehill for one that matches another, forcing the trail to happen anyway.
Chain Reaction
Every time a winning cluster forms, those symbols disappear and new ones drop in from above. The replacements can form new clusters, which disappear and drop again. There is no limit to how many chain reactions can fire in a single spin.
Clusterbuster™
Sitting right in the middle of the 9x9 grid is a 3x3 cluster of locked tiles. The outer tiles of the Clusterbuster™ break whenever a winning cluster forms adjacent to it. Break every outer tile in the same spin and the Clusterbuster™ busts open, sending you straight into Free Spins. The broken tiles reset at the start of each new spin, so the pressure has to build all over again. When only 3 or fewer tiles remain unbroken, the Mole may randomly step in and finish the job himself.
Free Spins
Busting open the Clusterbuster™ awards 10 Free Spins. During the bonus round any multipliers earned when trails form between Molehills stay active for the full duration of the round rather than resetting between spins. Breaking the Clusterbuster™ again during Free Spins adds 5 more spins to the count.
Prize Diamonds
Prize Diamonds carry a random cash prize worth between 0.5x and 25x the stake. If a Molehill trail passes through a Prize Diamond its prize is awarded before it gets swapped. If Prize Diamonds land on 2 or more Molehills a trail of Prize Diamonds forms between them, awarding every diamond along the path before they disappear.
